A new hotel named Belle Resort will soon be open at Chaung Tha, Yangon's nearest seaside beach, an official from the hotel told the 7Day News Journal.
The new hotel, which is built at the site where Ayeyar Oo Hotel used to be located, is a bungalow-type hotel with 58 rooms and has its own international standard swimming pool, the hotel official said. Although preparations are still underway for the grand opening, the hotel will start accepting bookings from this open season.
Belle Resort is facing directly to the beach and is situated on a 5-acre land between Diamond Hotel and Grand Hotel.
The official from Belle Resort also said that a low-priced honeymoon package for couples who will hold weddings at major hotels in Yangon after Thadingyut period has been arranged as a special programme.
