The Cua Lo Waterways Tourism Festival 2008 will officially begin at Van Loc Temple and Binh Minh Square in Cua Lo Town, central  Nghe An Province on April 30 and May Day with many sports activities, rituals, special art shows, folk games and a firework display.
Cua Lo authorities said they strive to build the town into a civilized tourism urban area with excellent services, clean sea water and sustainable development.
Tourists to Cua Lo can enjoy its natural beauty, blue and clean sea water, traditional dishes and cultural “products” such as melodies of folk songs peculiar to this region. 
They also have a chance to visit the homeland of two world cultural celebrities - President Ho Chi Minh and Great Poet Nguyen Du - and the temple of General-Emperor Quang Trung. |
