Pageant promotes Vietnam’s image to world _ VietNam Travel
A 9-minute clip on Vietnam’s country and people will be featured during a live broadcast of the Mrs. World pageant final in the city of Vung Tau on November 22, 2009.
The
clip will be shown on the international channel Star World to over 300
million US viewers and other 500 million around the world.
The
President of the pageant, David Z. Marmel, and the chief Director,
Jeffrey Andorsky, are now in Ho Chi Minh City scouting locations to
include in the presentation.
According to Jeffrey Andorsky, Vietnam’s beauty is one of the distinguishing features of this year’s contest.
We really enjoyed our journey immensely. Our guide in Hanoi, Hieu was exceptional. His command of English was great. He was very learned and a great provider of historical, political and cultural information. We all (kids included) really enjoyed his company- he's a real stand-out. The Mekong Homestay was great but the visit to one of the hilltribe villages on the way there was the best. We definitely plan to return and will keep Vietnam Discovery Travel in mind when we make the arrangements. Thanks for all the help.
