"We were very lucky since following an almost desperate browse on the internet one night I came across Vietnam Discovery Travel and straight away sent an email. Mai got back to me the very next day and worked magic for myself and my wife. Mai did a fantastic job - we started exploring Asia some 5 years ago now and every year we try somewhere different. Cambodia and Vietnam was by far our best trip.
Everything, from accommodation, transfers,foods was absolutely tip top and I would have no hesitation (and already have done) in recommending Vietnam Discovery Travel and their team. Not only does our thanks go to Mai but also Mr Samban and Vanda our guide in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Samban was outstanding, very down to earth and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. In fact it was quite hard to say goodbye at the airport. Then there was Nguyen in Hanoi who again was in the same league as Samban. Both had a very good sense of humour - we had some brilliant laughs and their knowledge of their country was amazing. We learnt an awful lot about Cambodia and Vietnam and both Samban and Nguyen should be proud of both their country and themselves.
We're both still talking about the holiday some 3 weeks on - the memories we have will last forever. We certainly won't hesitate to contact Indochina Holiday Travel next time round as soon as we've decided what to try next "

I want to thank you; we are safely at home, albeit with a heavy cold. The tour was very interesting, our guide in Hue, Mr. Nguyen QuocAnh (I hope his name correct) was very good. A pleasant and very knowledgeable man, he made the tour a success. I would be glad if you give him my compliments.We hope next year to visit the northern half of your country and we shall, of course, ask for your help.Once more, thank you and thank you to your man in Hoi An and Hue.

The Hotels were lovely… I would say that the Metropole was the best, then Le Residence (both) next best, then the Caravelle then the Victoria….
We really loved the Metropole the most… it’s lovely and the location is great as well as the facilities and service. And we really liked the restaurant "Wild Lotus" you sent us to for our welcome dinner.
Some of the highlights of the trip were HalongBay… it was so beautiful… and we really enjoyed the flowers and champagne and cake… it was very memorable.
Going to the markets was also great fun… the guides were great… very knowledgeable, accommodating and their flexibility was appreciated.
We were thinking we would see some less developed parts of the Mekong Delta. And the boat trip on Tonle SapLakeseemed like a trap just to get us onto a tourist barge.
One thing that was a problem was leaving for Cambodia… Vietnam airlines was reluctant to let us on the plane because we did not have the return tickets back to Vietnam. In the end it all worked out great but it was stressful at the time, we thought we were going to have a major problem. Also, some information that would be helpful in the dossier you send out to people visiting Cambodia is that they require a passport that is valid for more than six months from the entry date into Cambodia…
We were very pleased on the whole. We thought the service was impeccable and we will recommend you and your company.

We did not get nickel and dimed for entrances and with local payments. Everything was very well-organized. Dear Mrs Kim Tham and your company VIETNAM DISCOVERY TRAVEL
Yesterday we arrived home in the UK, following our holiday in Vietnam that your company had arranged for us. This email is to thank you and your colleagues for the excellent organisation of the tour. From the moment we were met in Hanoi airport to the final farewell in Saigon, the organisation; the transport; the guides and the hotels all more than met our expectations.
We had a most enjoyable and informative visit and the information from the tour guides significantly contributed to our enjoyment.
We completed two evaluation forms, provided by our first and third guide. Had we been given one for our time in Hue and Hoi An, we would have been equally complimentary of the guide's service.
I am sure that Mike Moran will also be emailing you with other comments but we wanted you to know as soon as possible about our satisfaction and enjoyment of the service you provided.
Thank you again for your excellent service from the first contact to the last goodbye.

" We just wanted to send you a short note to say how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Vietnam. We will never forget our introduction to this most amazing country in Hanoi & have to say we instantly fell in love with this city. From Halong Bay, Hue, Hoian to Saigon it was a whilwind of the most amazing sights, sounds, tastes and smells. It almost impossible to pick a highlight as each city was so unique & special in its own right. But for us Halong Bay was truly memorable and exceeded all our expectations.
We have to say that the balance of the tours on our customized trip were just right with the perfect amount of sightseeing & rest included and our guides & drivers were excellent.We were very impressed with their knowledge and communication skills - and their ever-present smiling faces - nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention must be given to our guide in Hanoi, Lan who pulled out all the stops when we arrived at the airport to come home and discovered that our flight to Singapore had been cancelled! Within 30 minutes we were booked on a flight the same night to Bangkok and California. Lan and our driver Mr.Min waited at the airport with us until we checked in a waived us through passport control. Service beyond the call of duty! and much appreciated by us both.
Our hotels and resorts were out of this world and we are very glad that we paid the small amount extra to go 5 star - it was a real treat & well worth it. As for the food - wow! We have never eaten and enjoyed food so much in our lives (we are currently searching the yellow pages for our nearest Vietnamese restaurant!) Every restaurant we were taken to by our guides was excellent as were the ones we managed to find for ourselves. However the biggest delight for us was the Vietnamese people - they could not do enough to help you & were always so happy and cheery it was quite humbling.
So, to you & your company ( VIETNAM DISCOVERY TRAVEL ) in Vietnam a huge thank you. We will recommend your company to my collegues.

Customized Trip
The whole family really enjoyed our customized private tour that Vietnam Discovery Travel planned and provided for our family's vacation to Vietnam. Our tour was magical and we could not have asked for a better personal escort-guide and driver than you provided for our tour.
