We had a great trip. The old addage " you get what you pay for" definitely proved itself true on this "off the beaten track" tour of VietNam but there were many interesting and memorable points. It is not for customers looking for any ounce of luxury or the Vietnam that one sees in the travelogues. The hotels are basic (but nice), the food was a bit challenging at times but the people were lovely. The Vietnam Discovery Travel Company deliveried exactly what they promised-which what you hope for!

Vietnam Mountain Bike Tour - Customized Trip
There isn't much to say other than it was asolutely great. Everything happened as scheduled ( on time even). The bikes was well maintained. The guides were wonderful and knowledgable. We really like having The Vietnam Discovery Company every day. You were all helpful in many ways and everyone was fun to be with. It was great to have you arrange everything for us. We really appreciated your flexibility. Overall, we feel that we received a very good value for what we paid.
We would definitely recommend The Vietnam Discovery Travel to anyone going to Viet Nam to do the bicycle trips.

Vietnam Cycling Tours - 13 Days
Our trip to Vietnam was an incredible experience. Words cannot fully explain how much we enjoyed the trip. Ms Nhung , our tour guide was marvellous. She was not only a great organiser and guide, but a great person who went well outside her responsibilities to ensure that our trip was a memorable one. Next year we are looking to visit Cambodia and I will contact you when we begin planning!

Vietnam Discovery
I have just returned from my holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia and wanted you to know that the trip was fantastic. We visited all the big ticket items, many small unknown places and had a great experience. The trip was very well organised, accommodation was much better than expected, guides were very good (a couple were exceptional). Congratulations on a well put together trip. Our tour guide was LY (NHUNG) Bemrose. NHUNG started the trip as our guide but ended the trip as our friend. She was terrific as a guide, friend and travel companion. We never had to bother about anything...because NHUNG handled everything so well. She made sure all our accommodation was acceptable, helped with food and advice on what extra to see in our free time and above all she was just a pleasure to travel with.

Viet Nam & Cambodia Holiday
I would just like to write and thank your company for an excellent trip around Indochina - it was supremely wonderful. I would in particular like to commend the tour leaders, Hieu and Luou (and the local guide who acted just as a tour leader in Laos, Viet nam,Siem Reap, Virakhan Xayxana), as they did much to make the whole experience so enjoyable. I was impressed with their effortless organisation, willingness to cater to the group's individual needs (not an easy job), whilst still being able to socialise in a most pleasant way. All in all they proved to be consummate professionals and I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to tour with them.

Indochina Discovery 18 Days
I would like to compliment Vietnam Discovery Travel on their superior customer service. It seems to me that many travel companies think their work ends at drawing up itineraries and arranging hotels. However, I found that your company really values the customer experience and this was shown by the phone calls we received in each city, checking whether we had found the experience to our expectation. I think this alone is ingenious, as any problems can be addressed immediately and not potentially left to mar the whole holiday. In all, a wonderful experience in a superb country.

Vietnam Discovery
A huge thank you for the help with organising our recent trip to Vietnam. We had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed every minute and have been singing the praises of the country and Indochina Holiday Travel since we returned. It was the best holiday we have had in years. Everything went so smoothly, BAN was a joy, quietly organised and TUAN and Viet both great sources of knowledge and good fun. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They were all great ambassadors for Vietnam Discovery Travel.

Vietnam Beach Holiday
Our tour was fantastic! Our tour leader, John , was excellent and he took care of every little detail to ensure we had a good time. I was impressed with he local knowledge, love and respect for the country. He was fantastic at communicating with all the people in the group and made sure we were happy and our needs were catered for. He could not have done more! The local guide, Banny, was also fantastic and helpful. I feel both the tour leader and local guide complimented each other very well and made it a memorable trip for me. The itinerary was great and I do not have any suggestions for improvement. As a group we were lucky because we got on well with each other. All the transfers following the tour were well organised. I was impressed with Vietnam Discovery Travel and I will certainly travel with you again and recommend you to my friends. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a great holiday.

Customized trip in Vietnam -19 days for 18 persons
We really enjoyed our journey immensely. Our guide in Hanoi, Hieu was exceptional. His command of English was great. He was very learned and a great provider of historical, political and cultural information. We all (kids included) really enjoyed his company- he's a real stand-out. The Mekong Homestay was great but the visit to one of the hilltribe villages on the way there was the best. We definitely plan to return and will keep Vietnam Discovery Travel in mind when we make the arrangements. Thanks for all the help.
